Youth Empowerment Through Art and Culture is a weekend workshop series designed to educate, expose and empower “at-risk” youth through art and culture. The goal is to provide broad exposure to activities and experiences that the young people aren’t likely to have at home or in school. Workshop topics include: social media and project management, filmmaking and photography, an introduction to ‘live food,’ capoeira, indigenous Jamaican dance and yoga.
