Sixty young men from some of Jamaica’s most neglected communities, several of whom had some record of conflict with the law, participated in 3 months of behaviour modification, entrepreneurship, dance, theatre and music workshops. They created, performed, practiced yoga, developed business plans, bonded and interacted with some of Jamaica’s preeminent creative professionals. Today, several of these young men who graduated from the Change Through Art project have continued along the path of excellence to become respected disc jockeys, entrepreneurs, performers and artists in their own right.
